2024 FALL FUTURES FAIR

Last week, our 2024 Fall Futures Fair was a success! It offered valuable insights into potential careers and educational opportunities and the chance to network with professionals across different organizations. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, including organizations like Open Space Authority, Santa Clara County Parks, Electrical Training Alliance, and more who shared their resources with corpsmembers!

ELECTRICAL TRAINING ALLIANCE OF SILICON VALLEY TOUR

Charter School students had the chance to visit the Electrical Training Alliance of Silicon Valley (ETA), where they explored apprenticeship opportunities in the electrical field and learned about the steps to begin a career as an electrician.

AMERICORPS DAY OF SERVICE

Corpsmembers and staff volunteered at Oak Hill Cemetery for AmeriCorp's annual 9/11 Day of Service. Volunteers welcomed guests, provided snacks and refreshments, and participated in the ceremony honoring the memory of 9/11. A big thank you to everyone who joined us on this meaningful day of remembrance!

CHARTER SCHOOL AWARDS AND HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION 

To kick off grading period two, the Charter School hosted a community day and celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month. We honored students who did an outstanding job through their attendance, grades, and attitude. There was music, academic recognition, and fun activities. Thank you to everyone involved, it was a great turnout!

Support Services provides hygiene kits for corpsmembers and students! These kits are available in the restrooms at both the Senter and Berger locations. Additionally, the laundry room and showers at the Berger and Senter campuses are accessible for emergency use. For assistance, please reach out to Support Services!
