This week’s photo features some Environmental Projects corpsmembers hard at work along the Guadalupe River Trail, reducing hazardous fuel loads just in time for peak wildfire season. By raising tree canopies and cutting tall, dry grasses, they're reducing the risk of extreme wildfires, protecting our community, and minimizing potential damage. Thank you for the amazing work!

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CAL NAT COHORT

Last Friday, the summer Cal Nat cohort completed their training and received their certificates. Kudos to all of the corpsmembers who showed up every day ready to learn, and thank you to the CMD team for putting together yet another fun-filled week of field trips!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

This coming Monday, August 11th, is the start of the 2025-2026 school year! We expect to welcome 198 students on the first day alone, and we are thrilled to begin this next chapter together. Make sure to review your schedules and come prepared. See you soon!
