The photo of the week features corpsmembers after their tour at Valley Water, where they learned about the fascinating process of water purification and discovered how recycled water is currently used in the county. They also learned about the Advanced Water Purification Processes, which will elevate water quality to levels suitable for various future uses, including the potential expansion of drinking water supplies.

BEGINNINGS BASH: TIME TO RSVP

It's here, the 2nd Annual Beginning Bash! Join us on May 23rd from 5 -7 PM at Lake Cunningham to celebrate our Charter School and Job Training Grads! 

We will have numerous games and activities such as:

• Tug-of-War

• Burlap Sack Race

• Volleyball

• Football Toss

• Infamous Dunk Tank, where you will have the chance to dunk staff of your choice.

 Hope you are also hungry for our lineup of free food and treats such as tortas, tamales, churros, snow cones, and more! RSVP below to join the festivities!

FORKLIFT CERTIFIED

This week, our newest Forklift Trainer, Vanessa Segura-Lara certified her first trainee, Cindy Le. Please help us congratulate both of our team members on this career milestone!

TOURING SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY

Charter School students toured Santa Clara University this week! They had the chance to explore the campus and learn about the different post-secondary education options they have.

LAST FAMILY & STUDENT ENGAGEMENT MEETING OF THE YEAR

Charter School concluded its final Family + Student Engagement Community Meeting of the school year! We appreciate everyone who participated in guiding students toward graduation and success in their goals. Shoutout to the Charter School and special thanks to Sophy Chea for the support and presentations at all the meetings this year! For the last meeting, we had over 25 attendees!
