The photo of the week features some of the Zero Waste team at Electronic Recyclers International (ERI). They were able to take a tour and learn about the difference we can make in the world by recycling E-waste the proper way.

BEAUTIFY THE BIKE PATH

We are partnering up with the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful for a creek clean-up group ride. Join us tomorrow, Saturday, April 13th at 8:30 AM. If you're interested, there's still time to sign up below. Hope to see you there!

BEGINNINGS BASH: SAVE THE DATE

Please join us in celebrating the achievements of the graduating students and corspmembers of 2024 on May 23rd from 5 PM - 7 PM at Lake Cunningham! 

Beginnings Bash, formerly known as the Grad Party, will include games, prizes, a dunk tank, and free food. Let us congratulate these hardworking and dedicated corpsmembers who have accomplished so much. 

We encourage active corpsmembers, students, and staff to attend and share their support. We wish the graduating class a bright and successful future and hope to see you there!

Please refrain from bringing any alcohol, drugs, or unregistered guests onto the premises. We appreciate and expect your cooperation.

Whether running, walking, hiking, skiing, finding new parks, general adventuring, or whatever awesome ideas you want to share, the outdoor club is a space to connect with people, share interests, and explore the GREAT OUTDOORS!

CHARTER SCHOOL'S COLLEGE AND CAREER DAY

This week at the Charter School's College and Career Community Day, corpsmembers engaged with representatives from our local Community Colleges, Pipe Trades, Work 2 Future, and the Santa Clara County Fire Department! They had the opportunity to network and gather information about the options available to them for their post-graduation futures.

SPRING FUTURES FAIR RAFFLE WINNERS

Mother Nature graciously held off on the rain during our Spring Futures Fair, giving us a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors. As the event came to an end, we were excited to announce the winners of our raffle! Congratulations to German Martinez, Meranda Rouse, Raymond Rubio, Luz Valenzuela, Ozzy Lopez, Hailey Quinonez. We hope the picnic items will add to their outdoor adventures this spring! Congratulations and thank you to everyone who came!
