This week's photo highlights the Corpsmember Council and staff at the 2025 CALCC Corps Conference in Sacramento. The event provides our council with the chance to connect with other corps from across the state, attend workshops, and deepen their understanding of the corpsmember journey while focusing on career preparation.

FREE BABY SUPPLIES

Exciting news—the Baby Depot is returning! Join us at the Senter campus for another amazing event where corpsmembers can snag free baby supplies! Items will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, and stock is limited, so be sure to stop by and grab some items for Spring.

BEGINNINGS BASH

Save the date for our 3rd annual Beginnings Bash, where we will be celebrating our 2024-2025 graduating charter school and job training corpsmembers! Hope to see you May 29th! More details to come. 

DUNK-A-DORSEY

We are bringing back Dunk-A-Dorsey for the Beginnings Bash this year! You can nominate participants or sign up to be dunked using the QR code above or the "nominate" button below. Those participating will be placed on a list of people who AGREED to participate. Corpsmembers and staff have the opportunity to dunk someone on this list.  

To be dunked, you must be available on May 29th from 5-7 PM.

REVITALIZING BIOSWALES: WEEDING EFFORTS FOR A HEALTHIER PARK ENVIRONMENT

 Check out these before-and-after shots from Albertano's crew this week at Orchard Park in San Jose. After loading up a city truck full of weeds and debris, they were able to clear the bioswales drain, which helps capture and treat stormwater runoff and prevent flooding during future Spring storms. Nice work team!

BEAUTIFYING THE BERGER CAMPUS

 A big thank you to corpsmembers German, Jose, and Maonrri from our Zero Waste team for their hard work on the Berger campus landscaping. Their efforts in removing weeds and trimming the ground cover play a vital role in keeping our campus looking its best.

PEEPS DIORAMA CONTEST

This April, we will be hosting a Peeps Diorama contest! Immerse your Peeps in an alternate world. Using at least 2 Peeps, recreate a scene from your favorite movie, TV show, video game, book, or story using a diorama. You can use poster boards, shoe boxes, and other crafting materials for the setup! For more inspiration, search "Peep diorama" on Google!
