A paid opportunity to learn and explore Santa Clara Valley! Through the utilization of lectures, assignments, chapter discussions, and in-person field trips, corpsmembers participate in hands-on and field-based activities. They focus on experiential learning and exploration of the Santa Clara Valley's natural resources to increase the knowledge and commitment to environmental stewardship. This week graduates from our California Naturalist program visited Coyote Hills Regional Park to participate in an indigenous peoples interpretive program! They learned about the first stewards of the land, the natural resources they used, and the cultural history of the region. Big thanks to the Coyote Hills Naturalists for having us participate in this engaging activity!
