This week's photo highlights corpmember Belen at a tabling event at James Lick High School! She’s working to recruit future Zero Waste Ambassadors to promote zero waste practices at their school. By participating in this program, they can share their knowledge with their families and the community, emphasizing the importance of reducing waste, recycling, composting, and building a culture of sustainability.

VOLUNTEER: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Volunteers are needed for the yearly Dia De Los Muertos event hosted by Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park. You will be helping with the event set up and break down, passing out items to guests, providing directions, and supervising the big spinning wheel of fun! This is a family event filled with fun activities for all. You will receive a food truck ticket for lunch, an AmeriCorps prize of your choice, earn AmeriCorps hours, and enjoy the celebration.
