BECOME A CALIFORNIA NATURALIST

A paid opportunity to learn and explore Santa Clara Valley! Through the utilization of lectures, assignments, chapter discussions, and in-person field trips, corpsmembers participate in hands-on and field-based activities. They focus on experiential learning and exploration of the Santa Clara Valley's natural resources to increase the knowledge and commitment to environmental stewardship. ZERO WASTE CORPSMEMBER FOR A DAY

Jan Jimenez and Ina Heneghan, both AmeriCorps staff members, enthusiastically joined the Zero Waste team for a residential E-waste pickup route earlier this week. Immersing themselves as corpsmembers, they spent the day connecting with the community and experiencing a day in the life of a Zero Waste corpsmember!

WINTER FUTURES FAIR

The Futures Fair was a Success! Various organizations stopped by, like Excite Credit Union, Santa Clara County Parks, Trades Orientation Program (TOP), and more, to help corpsmembers explore new opportunities for personal and professional growth. Thank you to everyone who showed up and those who helped coordinate to ensure everything ran smoothly for corpsmembers and organizations.

CHARTER SCHOOL COMMUNITY MEETING

This week, the Charter School celebrated students at their community meeting! Guest speaker Los Gatos Town Councilmember Rob Moore spoke to the students and gave them Honor Roll and Attendance Awards! Congrats to everyone who received an award!

LITTER ABATEMENT

Projects dedicated their efforts to litter abatement this week, successfully clearing numerous bags and even discovering a discarded bumper. We appreciate your contribution to maintaining the cleanliness of our community. Keep up the excellent work!

PROJECTS WITH CALTRANS

Projects collaborated with Caltrans this week, experiencing a highly productive day with an exceptional team. Although the project is not yet complete, they've made great progress! Kudos to everyone for their outstanding efforts!
